Trainer Spotlight: Meet Lisa Clyne

We’re excited to welcome Lisa Clyne to the Bulldog Gym team of personal trainers!

Lisa brings more than a decade of experience in personal training—certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) since 2012—but her commitment to strength, movement, and performance started long before that. She’s been training in the gym since she was a teenager and hasn’t looked back since.

Before joining Bulldog Gym, Lisa trained clients one-on-one in home settings, helping individuals achieve goals ranging from weight loss and strength training to improving overall health. Her approach is built on education, proper form, and consistency—not trends or shortcuts.

“Whether the goal is strength, mobility, endurance, or simply feeling better, I help people understand the why behind what we do,” Lisa says. “It’s about building long-term success, not quick fixes.”

Her training background also includes something a little different—but just as demanding. Lisa previously owned and operated an equestrian training facility, where she trained both horse and rider at top competitive levels. It was one-on-one coaching at its finest—and it demanded just as much from her body and mind as it did from the athletes she coached.

That experience shaped her belief in building confidence through movement. Whether she was coaching a rider in the ring or a client in the weight room, her goal remains the same: to help people find their version of strength.

Lisa stays current with training science and believes that fitness isn’t just about performance—it’s about quality of life.

“Fitness is a tool for confidence, resilience, and living fully. I want people to feel stronger, more capable, and more in control of their health—at any age or stage.”

Please join us in giving Lisa a warm welcome next time you see her at the gym. And if you’re looking for a trainer who’ll challenge you, teach you, and support you every step of the way—she’s here for it.
