With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to John Wesley Elliot Jr, fondly known as “Mr. Jack,” a cornerstone of Bulldog Gym since its inception in 2014. Mr. Jack’s presence graced our gym for a remarkable 10 years, leaving an indelible mark on our gym community.

A Legacy of Dedication

Mr. Jack’s commitment to his fitness journey was unparalleled. As the very first member to join Bulldog Gym on August 19th, 2014, he exemplified dedication and perseverance, logging approximately 1600 visits over the years. Rain or shine, Mr. Jack could always be found, inspiring others with his unwavering resolve.

A Friend to All

Mr. Jack possessed a unique ability to connect with others. While he may have seemed reserved at first, those who took the time to know him discovered a kind and generous soul beneath the surface. His warmth and welcoming nature endeared him to all who crossed his path.

A Pillar of Strength

Until recently, Mr. Jack could be spotted on his daily walks around Monticello, a testament to his commitment to health and wellness. His walks often included acts of kindness, such as feeding stray dogs he encountered along the way. Mr. Jack’s compassion knew no bounds.

A Lasting Legacy

Mr. Jack leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. He is survived by his devoted wife Linda, his son John, and several cherished grandchildren. Though he may no longer grace our gym with his presence, his memory will forever live on in our hearts.
