Six months ago, we set out on a bold mission—to transform Bulldog Gym into a space that better serves our members and reflects our commitment to continuous improvement. Now, after months of dust, noise, and countless hours of hard work, we’re thrilled to announce that our remodel and expansion are officially complete!
What’s New?
Our goal was to enhance every part of the gym experience, from parking to workouts, and we’ve done just that. Here’s what we’ve accomplished:
Resurfaced and restriped the parking lot for a smoother, safer arrival.
Demoed a 1,500 sq. ft. area to create a brand-new, updated Group Fitness Room.
Built a new cardio and open floor space area, giving members more room for warm-ups, stretching, and functional fitness.
Added a dedicated Spin Studio, designed specifically for high-energy cycling sessions.
Transformed our lobby into a more spacious, welcoming area with expanded seating and retail space, plus new double glass entry doors.
Created a new tanning waiting area and office space, along with a dedicated staff breakroom.
Installed an additional private shower area, providing more convenience for our members.
Gave the entire gym a fresh look with a full interior and exterior paint job.
Added more mirrors throughout the gym to enhance visibility and improve workout efficiency.
Tinted all front-facing windows, reducing glare and helping regulate indoor temperatures.
Replaced and upgraded flooring in every area, giving the gym a sleek, modern, and durable foundation.
Completed brickwork on the exterior facade, thanks to the skilled work of Bob Beaty.
The Team That Made It Happen

Bluebird Electrical – Installation of light fixtures, outlets, and rewiring throughout the gym.
SoF Surfaces Flooring Company – Provider of rubber flooring for our cardio and resistance training areas.
PeachState Flooring Company – Installed flooring throughout the entire facility.
Coats of Quality Painting Company – Painted the entire exterior and interior.
Jasco Plumbing – Handled plumbing upgrades, including the new shower room and relocated water cooler.
- Tegrity Wood Kitchen and Bath Contractor (Joel McDaniel) – Perfectly implemented our vision of a beautiful and functional front desk, barn doors, accent wall and breakroom cabinets
Andy Parrott Window Tinting – Tinted all front-facing windows for a more comfortable environment.
AAC Glass and Mirror – Installed additional mirrors throughout the facility.
J’s Custom AV (Justin Haizlip) – Upgraded TVs, sound systems, CCTV cameras, front desk software, and door controls.
M.D. Heating & Air – Installed new ductwork in the Group Fitness Room and additional vents throughout the gym.
D.O. Glass Company – Installed our brand-new double entrance doors.
Houston Asphalt and Paving Services – Resurfaced the parking lot for a clean, polished finish.
Bob Beaty – Provided expert brickwork on the exterior facade.
- Larry Mooney – provided a custom-built coffee table for our lobby area.

What’s Next?
Now that our expansion is complete, we’re setting our sights on new equipment upgrades. Over the coming months, we’ll begin investigating and purchasing additional machines and gear to ensure Bulldog Gym remains the best fitness facility in the area. Stay tuned for updates!
