At Bulldog Gym, we’re proud to have members like Larry Cobbs who embody dedication, resilience, and a love for fitness. For Larry, fitness isn’t just about looking good—it’s about longevity. He firmly believes that staying in motion is key to living a long, healthy life. His journey to fitness is fueled by the inspiration he draws from his fellow members and friends, who, like him, work hard to stay motivated and get to the gym regularly.
Larry’s self-starter attitude has been with him since his high school days. As an athlete, he took on leadership roles on the field, in the classroom, and at home. Every day after practice, Larry walked 8 miles home, determined to balance his studies and training. His hard work paid off, earning him a full scholarship to Clark Atlanta University. There, Larry excelled as a quarterback on the football team and as a pitcher on the baseball team. Becoming the first member of his family to graduate from college is one of his proudest achievements.
These days, Larry is a consistent presence at Bulldog Gym, always greeting everyone with a warm smile and positive energy. He’s an example of what it means to commit to a healthy lifestyle, and his advice to others is simple but powerful: “Don’t give up on your fitness dreams. There will be valleys and hills on your health journey, but stick with it.”
Larry Cobbs is a shining example of hard work and perseverance, and Bulldog Gym is proud to have him as part of our community!
