No Tailgating: Why it’s important that you check in every visit.

We want to remind you of the importance of checking in every time you enter the gym and not tailgating behind another member. It might seem like a small thing, but it makes a big difference to us and to your fellow gym-goers. Here are three reasons why:

We use visit data to make business decisions

As a business, we need to know how many members are visiting the gym each day, week, and month. This data informs our decisions about purchasing new equipment, hiring staff, and planning for future expansion. If you don’t check in, we don’t know you’re here, and we can’t use that data to make informed decisions.

Safety
We monitor entrance to the gym during non-staff hours on a daily basis. When we see someone tailgating, we’re going to reach out. We do this to protect our members who take advantage of training during off-peak hours. Tailgating puts everyone at risk, as someone could enter the gym who isn’t a member or who hasn’t signed a waiver.

Checking in provides you with a way to measure and track gym visits
By checking in every time you enter the gym, you’re able to track how many times you’ve come to the gym. This is helpful for setting and achieving fitness goals, and it can provide motivation to keep coming back. Plus, it’s a great way to hold yourself accountable and see the progress you’re making. Feel free to ask us anytime for your attendance report 😀!

Remember, there are two ways to check in: you can use the door swiper located near the entrance or the scanner at the front desk. We understand that sometimes it can be tempting to tailgate behind another member or forget to check in, but we ask that you please take a moment to do so. It helps us provide a better gym experience for everyone, and it ensures that you’re safe and accounted for while you’re here.

Thank you for being a part of the Bulldog Gym community 🐾, and we look forward to seeing you at your next workout!
