What are the Bulldog Strength Clubs?

The Bulldog Strength Clubs are a recognition program that celebrates real, earned strength using three foundational lifts performed under staff verification.

This is not a competition. There are no rankings or leaderboards. Once you earn a Bulldog Strength Club level, that achievement is permanent.

What lifts are included?

Your total is calculated using: – Back Squat – Bench Press – Deadlift

All three lifts must be completed within the same one-hour session.

What are the Bulldog Strength Club levels?

Club levels are based on your combined total across the three lifts:

  • Bulldog Strength Club – 750
  • Bulldog Strength Club – 1000
  • Bulldog Strength Club – 1250
  • Bulldog Strength Club – 1500

In what order are the lifts performed?

Lifts must be performed in the following order: 1. Back Squat 2. Bench Press 3. Deadlift

Can I go back to a previous lift?

No. Once you move on to the next lift in the sequence, you may not return to a previous lift for additional attempts.

How many attempts do I get?

You may take multiple attempts for the lift you are currently performing, as long as you remain within the one-hour time limit.

How much time do I have?

You have one hour total, including all warm-up sets. The official clock begins when you start warming up for the back squat.

Do I have to schedule my attempt?

Yes. All Bulldog Strength Club attempts must be scheduled in advance and completed during staffed hours.

Who verifies the lifts?

A Bulldog Gym staff member must be present for all attempts. Staff verify weights, movement standards, and successful completion.

Staff decisions are final.

Straight bar or trap bar deadlifts are allowed. Sumo deadlifts are not permitted.

What happens if I don’t hit my target total?

Yes. Once you earn a level, you may attempt to move up by scheduling another official attempt.

Will my name be displayed in the gym?

Yes. Members who earn a Bulldog Strength Club level will be recognized in-gym by club level and achievement date.

Where can I find the official rules?

The Bulldog Gym Strength Threshold Clubs – Official Rule Book (Revised v2) serves as the final authority on all standards and procedures.
